2. About BookMOTGarage

BookMOTGarage is an online comparison and booking platform that helps drivers find, compare and book MOT tests, vehicle servicing and repair services from independent garages.

We do not provide MOT testing, servicing, repairs or any other automotive services ourselves

3. Independent Garages

All garages listed on BookMOTGarage are independent businesses.

Each garage is responsible for its own:

  • Pricing
  • Service availability
  • Vehicle repairs and servicing
  • MOT testing
  • Customer service
  • Warranties and guarantees
  • Compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

4. Garage Content & Information

BookMOTGarage provides garages with access to an administration dashboard that allows them to manage their business profile and information displayed on the platform.

Garages may create, edit, update and manage information including:

  • Business information
  • Opening hours
  • Service descriptions
  • Pricing and quotations
  • Discounts and promotions
  • Images and media
  • Technician and staff information
  • Booking availability and appointment slots
  • Contact information

The information displayed on BookMOTGarage may be supplied directly by garages and may change at any time.

While we encourage garages to maintain accurate and up-to-date information, BookMOTGarage does not verify, endorse or guarantee the accuracy, completeness or reliability of information submitted by garages.

Users should independently verify important information with the selected garage before proceeding with any booking or service.

5. Booking Services

BookMOTGarage provides an online booking facility that allows users to request appointments with garages.

When you request a booking through BookMOTGarage, we pass your request to the selected garage. A booking request does not automatically guarantee an appointment. Garages may need to confirm availability or contact you directly.

6. Service Contracts

Any work carried out on your vehicle is performed by the garage you choose. If you have questions or concerns about repairs, servicing, MOT testing, warranties or pricing, these should be raised directly with the garage involved.

DelaxNet Ltd/BookMOTGarage is not a party to those service agreements.

7. Pricing & Availability

Prices, offers, discounts and availability displayed on BookMOTGarage may be provided by garages.

While reasonable efforts are made to maintain accurate information, DelaxNet Ltd does not guarantee:

  • Price accuracy
  • Service availability
  • Promotional offers
  • Service descriptions
  • Estimated completion times

8. Payments

Unless otherwise stated, payments for vehicle services are made directly to the selected garage.

BookMOTGarage is not responsible for payment arrangements, payment disputes, refunds or warranty claims between customers and garages.

9. Cancellations

Customers may cancel bookings in accordance with the cancellation policies of the selected garage.

Garages may cancel, reject or reschedule appointments where necessary.

10. Reviews & Ratings

Users may submit reviews and ratings based on genuine experiences.

Reviews must not contain:

  • False information
  • Abusive language
  • Defamatory content
  • Illegal material

BookMOTGarage reserves the right to remove reviews at its discretion.

11. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Provide correct vehicle details
  • Attend scheduled appointments
  • Use the platform lawfully
  • Respect garages and their staff

12. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, logos, graphics, software and intellectual property displayed on BookMOTGarage remain the property of DelaxNet Ltd unless otherwise stated.

Users may not reproduce, distribute or copy any content without written permission.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BookMOTGarage and DelaxNet Ltd shall not be liable for:

  • Vehicle repairs or servicing outcomes
  • MOT test results
  • Vehicle damage
  • Incorrect information supplied by garages
  • Pricing errors
  • Discount or promotional errors
  • Booking cancellations or rescheduling
  • Missed appointments
  • Warranty disputes
  • Garage conduct or workmanship
  • Loss of income or business
  • Indirect or consequential losses
  • Third-party content
  • External websites and services
  • Technical failures, website downtime or interruptions

Any dispute relating to vehicle repairs, servicing, MOT testing, pricing, warranties or workmanship must be addressed directly with the garage responsible for the service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

14. Third-Party Websites

BookMOTGarage may contain links to third-party websites, services or resources.

We do not control or endorse third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, security, privacy practices or availability.

We cannot guarantee that external websites, downloads or services will be free from viruses, malware, data theft, unauthorised access or other security risks.

Users access third-party websites entirely at their own risk.

15. Indemnity

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless DelaxNet Ltd from claims, damages, losses or expenses arising from misuse of the platform or breach of these Terms.

16. Privacy

Use of BookMOTGarage is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

17. Changes To These Terms

DelaxNet Ltd reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

Continued use of the platform following updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
